  My wife and I had quite a pleasant relaxing visit, nice scenery overlooking the river complete with swans, good food which included the smoked salmon and chicken pot pie, both very tasty. Great beer from local brewery Elora Brewing Company, we had the Three Fields Lager. Super friendly service from our server Bonnie. Would go back.

  The rudest service I ever experienced. My parents and I arrived and waited to be sited. After minutes looking at 3 ladies cleaning the glasses and being completely ignored, I kindly ASKED if we could be be directed to a table. The hostess in a very rude and sarcastic tone answered exactly this "I, PERSONALLY, am too busy to serve. Plus, there are no tables available anymore". I was looking at an empty table right in front of me, but I didn't want to discuss and ruin our family small trip, since they clearly didn't care. We decided to go to the restaurant next door, which was a way better choice, they served us very professionally and the food there was amazing! To Mill Street Bistro I will never come back or recommend to anyone, if you don't want to get stressed.

  We love this Bistro. Definitely one of our go to places. The food is delicious always. If your in a hurry this place is not for you. The chef is amazing but dont expect meals flying out the kitchen door. The scenery on the river and good conversation will distract you while waiting for your food. But believe me the wait is worth it. I recommend this place hands down. You wont regret it.

  Did not wait long to be seated. There wasn't a table available on the patio with a good river view but once seated a table become available and we were offered it! We ordered a cold beverage and it was served promptly. We placed our order and had wonderful conversation while waiting. The food was deliciously prepared. Butter tarts were ordered for dessert but we took them home as we were stuffed. Hand made and so worth splurging on! Thank you for a lovely lunch!
